IO9.com brings together a lot of research on the influence of birth order on work, life, and more. With the important notion that birth order is an incredibly difficult area to study, and as such, is considered highly controversial.
Do read the whole interesting article, but I want to share some charts from Daniel Eckstein et al who looked at the results of 200 birth-order studies to see if any consistency could be found in lifestyle characteristics. They discovered that some personality characteristics were indeed being consistently matched according to birth rank.
